Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish model and actor from 11 November 1996. Following her film debut with a tiny part in Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she was later cast to appear as a anti-Nazi archaeologist Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan Donavan played the role in A Prayer for the Dying in 1987. Charlotte appeared in Taffin (in 1988) and Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody began modelling after being offered by a professional photographer. This led to an impressive modeling career in the commercial world. Doody was adamantly against glamour and naked work, a rule that she extended to her acting career. When she came to the director's notice for a James Bond film, Doody took on a part on the film A View to a Kill (1985). The Almeria Tierra de Film Award was presented to her on the 21st of November in 2018. She also received an award on the Almeria Walk Of Fame.
